Stormwater Discharges
Stormwater discharge NPDES permitting is required to prevent pollutants from entering the waterways of the United States by regulating point sources of discharge. Our stormwater discharge consulting services ensure that regulatory and industry standards are maintained.
- Covered Discharges: Discharges associated with industrial activities, construction, medium and large size Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s) and other point sources.
- General Permits: Preparation of General Permit applications that cover a range of activities and discharges of similar facilities. Comprehensive assessments to identify the presence and extent of contaminated media.
- Individual Permits: Preparation of Individual Permit as developed for specific facility activities and discharges.

- Periodic Inspection, Sampling and Reporting: Perform inspection of facility stormwater conveyance and treatment structures and reporting activities to include operation and maintenance and design modification recommendations as necessary. Discharge sampling may include visual observation and laboratory analysis. Reporting activities include summarizing the inspection and sampling results with recommendations as necessary.
- Design: Provide design assistance to address stormwater system improvement recommendations that may involve operation and maintenance requirements, repairs and/or modifications that may be required due to facility operational changes.
