UST Registration

Registering your underground storage tank (UST) is a required step for any tank owner or operator. A UST system can be installed prior to having preapproval from or registration with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD); however, this registration must be complete before the UST tank is filled or operations begin.
UST Registration Process
EPD Notification Data must be completed and submitted for the Underground Storage Tank form, called GUST-42. Once the form is received and processed, the EPD will issue an Annual UST Registration Certificate. Tank registration must be renewed annually or whenever any UST system modifications are made.
