In-Situ Chemical Oxidation

In-situ chemical oxidation is a remediation technology that delivers chemical oxidants to the subsurface to destroy organic molecules. The oxidants, including air, oxygen, ozone or even hydrogen peroxide, are injected directly into the soil or groundwater contamination. This technique is most effective for dense, non-aqueous phase liquid (DNAPL) if it is present.
